Garlic Ghee Rice For Postpartum Period


The postpartum period is a crucial time for a mother’s recovery, requiring nourishing and easily digestible foods. Garlic Ghee Rice is a traditional and comforting dish packed with the goodness of garlic, ghee, and warm spices, making it ideal for new mothers.

  • In a pan, heat the ghee and fry the garlic pieces till it becomes golden brown in colour.
  • Now add the cooked rice, salt and mix well.
  • This was given to me daily during postpartum days.
  • It tastes awesome.
